Fort Stanton, New Mexico

Fort Stanton Development Commission
The Fort Stanton Development Commission was established by Governor Richardson and held its first meeting on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at the maintenance offices at the fort to begin the process of guaranteeing the fort's preservation as an historical entity. Meetings are open to the public and are normally scheduled for the last Saturday of the Month at the Fort Stanton maintenance director's office.
